Bauer's Organic Farm vegies go to retail outlets all over Australia and now also direct, fresh from the farm, to your door throughout most of SEQ Qld.
We are Queensland's largest producer of certified organic vegetables and one of the largest in Australia. The enterprise is made up of several, mostly-adjoining, farms located in the extremely fertile Mt Sylvia area of the Lockyer Valley. We produce award-winning vegies which are full of flavour and nutrition. They are sold all over Australia with some also being exported. Our produce is available at organic outlets including organic stores, green grocers, home delivery outlets, weekend markets, major supermarkets and now delivered directly from the farm to customers. We own 1000 acres of ‘chemical free paradise’, with about 500 acres devoted to growing certified organic vegies, while grazing certified organic beef cattle on the other 500 acres of hillier country. We grow using organic and biodynamic principles and enjoy looking after our health, the health of our workers and also the health of our customers.
The Bauer’s have farmed here since 1885 (over 127 years) and we are now into our sixth generation on the original farm. We 'went back to' growing organically 30 years ago and have fed many thousands of customers with our quality vegetables. From all historical information the property is as healthy now as it was back then. You can’t get more sustainable than that!!
